Christmas at UAFS Drennen-Scott Historic Site

Drennen-Scott Historic Site will be participating in the City of Van Buren’s activities on three Friday evenings in December.  The home and grounds will be decorated in period style.  Visitors will be treated to Christmas music, candy canes and a Civil War encampment commemorating the Union Army occupation of Van Buren between Christmas and New Year’s Day 1862.  See luminaries and Christmas lights at the Drennen-Scott Visitor Center.  Hear soldier stories around the campfire conducted by volunteers and staff.  Admission is free.  5:30 – 8 pm, December 3, 10, 17 at 221 North 3rd Street.  For additional information call 479-651-3945.
